HOODWINKED BELIEVERS

 

Many Believers have been hoodwinked

but they neither know it nor realize it. HOODWINKEDNESS CAN MAKE US LOOSE THE BLESSINGS OF THE LORD ASSIGNED TO US. Let's narrow down into the topic to discover what hoodwinked really is and how it happens.

I have never heard the Lord describe the Body of Christ quite like this until today. What is HOODWINKED, you ask? It is to be deceived, tricked, or duped. It means to be blindfolded, as if a hood was covering one's senses or to close the eyes. 

Because the Church has been misled, ill equipped, and not standing in their rightful authority, people have become so desperate for a move of God that they have settled for a counterfeit, mimicking spirit to convince them of a lie. They have turned to idol worship resulting in following man by propping them up on pedestals because they have a platform.

Enamored by charismatic gifts, they confuse it with anointing and are so busy looking for a savior, that they have forgotten to look to Jesus. They lack discernment and continue to run after what looks like God even though it is shrouded in witchcraft. This is the proverbial wolf in sheep's clothing scenario and many are so close that they are about to be bit.

Unfortunately, Believers do not trust themselves enough to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit and others refuse to obey Him because of what it will cost them. 

Please get alone with the Lord and ask for discernment. The Word of God assures you that if you seek Him, you will find Him and that His children hear His voice. I promise you that if you need a move of God, you can find it in your own living room, on a walking trail, in your car, or wherever you may be. The Bible says that if we cry out to the Lord He will bend down to hear us. You need no man, only Jesus. He is your High Priest and covering. The one who prays for you. 

Look, the Lord is calling us higher and expects more from the Remnant. He is tearing down idols this season and you do not want to be caught under the wreckage. Listen, when the Holy Spirit speaks and gives you revelation, do not reason it away. Believe Him. This is God's love and protection for you!

HOW TO ACHIEVE HOLYNESS THAT QUALIFIES GODLINESS:

Exercise yourself towards Godliness. For bodily exercise profits a little and make your body energetic, but Godliness exercise is profitable for your soul which is the central point of all your life. The fact that we are promised of life that now is and of that which is to come." 1 Timothy 4:7-9

We need to be healthy by exercising our hollyness.

Let us look at eight ways to grow and increase in our hollyness and then Godliness, thus becoming more like God in our character and morality.

Let's Hit the Gym of Hollyness that qualifies Godliness:

Godliness and grace - 

Grace empowers us to be godly.  To be more like God, we need to know what God is like. To know God takes prayer and reading the Word.

Godliness and prayer -

 Prayer is vital for us to truly know God because that is how we experience Him as we are meant to.

Godliness and morality - 

The fullness of compassion is in Christ. The fullness of love, compassion, righteousness, and true moral path for the soul is found in Jesus Christ. This goes to show that the essence of the Christian life is morality.

Godliness and experience -

 Through prayer, by presence, His face, and shutting out the things of this world in the secret place, you can experience God as He truly is.

Godliness and growth - 

Reading God's Word not only allows us to know what He is like but also helps develop our spiritual discernment. This is what we are to be dedicated to and grow in - our exercising ourselves towards godliness.

Godliness and confession - 

Confession of sin brings a cleansing from sin and all unrighteousness. This is how we can progress in sanctification and becoming more like God. We all have things both big and small that the Lord wants to have confessed, cleansed, and released out of our lives.

Godliness and love - 

The number one thing we can do to be godly is love - love God and as a result, love our neighbors. Jesus Himself said that this was the most important thing, (John 14:21).

Godliness and witnessing - 

The best witness you can do is to grow in godliness, thereby showing people and demonstrating who Christ is, instead of only telling them about who God is, (Galatians 2:20).

Godliness and personal hygiene.

Personal hygiene is an important thing in the life of a believer. As long as we claim.we are practicing hollyness, we need also to maintain high standards of cleanliness and personal grooming or etiquette.

Fixating our eyes and minds on the things above, not the world below allows us to know the importance of godliness and take care of our soul which lives forever. Hitting the gym, being fit, and looking good is great but let's hit the gym of godliness.

WHOSE BABY ARE YOU CARRYING IN YOUR WOMB?

 

In life many things happen but there are those that hurt most. Like in this topic, you can imagine of your wife carrying a pregnancy that is of another man??

Let's explore this topic and see what it carries.

You are a married woman and pregnant.

Whose baby are you birthing?  Your husband's or a strangers?

There's a reason I keep sharing and resharing this topic. This is literally a life or death question.

This will be probably apart from the gospel, the MOST IMPORTANT THING I EVER SAY

I want to talk about spiritual adultery. 

Imagine you are a married women whose husband is out of town.

You are filled with desire.

Instead of waiting in your husband to come home to fulfill your needs, you turn to someone else. You turn to a stranger.

At the end of this union - your “needs’ are met and you are momentary satisfied in your flesh, but because of your deceit your soul and heart are wounded.

While sin offered you a “solution” to one problem, it filled you with another.

You find out you are pregnant as this sin sowed its seed within you.

You realize the gravity of your mistake as you birth a strangers child.

A child not created from a place of love and honesty, but rather created from a defiled marriage bed.

Now let’s take a look at the spiritual shadows the Lord uses all throughout the bible to describe our union with Him. Marriage in the flesh is simply the foreshadowing of our union with Christ.

Ephesians 5:31-32

31 “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.”[a] 32 This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church.

Hosea 2:5

For their mother hath played the harlot: she that conceived them hath done shamefully: for she said, I will go after my lovers, that give me my bread and my water, my wool and my flax, mine oil and my drink.

2 Corinthians 11:2

I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him.

There are many more where this came from in the word.

Now picture this.

You are starving. 

When experiencing these hunger pains you are filling yourself with candy.

In the moment, you feel relief because it is filing the hole within, but because you are not actually feeding your bodies needs - you start to become very ill.

You continue this pattern because the candy taste good and it appears to take care of an instant problem ( your hunger) while failing to provide you will the long term solution which is keeping your body healthy and functioning.

Both of these examples are the state of the soul that is separated from Christ.

Both have a deep need and desire they are longing to fill.

In both of these scenarios the itch was scratched in the moment-but long term implications came from filling our needs and desires with the wrong thing.

Christ created each of us with a deep well for Him. A hole within us that only He can fill.

Yes its true, we can find momentary pleasures when we pacify ourself with sin and lies. We can even have the illusion of satisfaction.

This is until we birth the truth from within. 

The whole of our lives will be as a woman in labor.

What we birth at the end will show whether we were in union with Christ, or in bed with a stranger.

The Bible is very clear that those who hunger and thirst for righteousness will be filled.

Christ Himself is that rightousness.  

He promises us who hunger and thirst for Him that we will be filled.

Matthew 5:6. “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled”

Our relationship with Him will suffer though if instead of waiting for Him to fill us (trusting He will) we turn to fillers that draw us away from Him.

IF we are spending our time as those living in the world - chasing momentary itches to be scratched - we are not waiting on the Lord to fill us to His fullness. The only thing that truly satisfied.

And if we continue this empty chasing - our entire life that is but a vapor will birth nothing more than vanity from the strangers bed.

If you want to be filled with Christ -the bread of life- you must cut out the “candy” and make room for the King.

He’s the only thing that truly satisfies.

BIRDS OF THE AIR:

Birds of the air are smart in doing their daily duties. The don't mistake and confuse things. Every thing is fine perfectly. God has provided birds with natural resources where they get material for thrut nests and food for their consumption and young ones.

If at all birds of the air know how to trust and love forever, why not us human beings? Birds don't cheat on another, they don't lie but they Walk together and do things together with a spirit of success in everything. Let us copy the examples of birds.

CHALLENGES IN OUR MARRIAGE RELATIONSHIPS :

 

There are always many problems and challenges associated with our marriage relationships. This challenges and problems if left unsolved for sometime, they cause braking of  marriages in the society. Some of which are caused by men and others are caused by women. In many cases you will find that women always blame men and men always blametheir women. As a mediator, it's always hard to judge who's fault it was for the marriage to break unless if the two parties come together before the mediator and explain the whole happening.

Marriage relationships are always characterized by a number of challenges.

Some women who are hard working and who understand their roles in the family, they become  responsible when their men are lost into the world, they end up choosing to do even heavy jobs meant for mascular men in order to feed the children they are left with. In this picture you can clearly see a woman working as a motor vehicle mechanic, to get money to feed her children whose father might have married another woman and they stay far.

Some Men abandon their families as you can see in the picture below. The wife and children remain suffering with lack of many problems. Poor shelter, no sufficient food,lack of good clothings, school fees and poor living conditions. Some men get lost into drugs, alcohol and betting games. They totally forget about their family. 

Our relationships face such situations. Sometimes  life's is lost and we can't reverse it. Some men kill wife, children and then kill themselves. Some women poison their husbands, children and poison themselves. We need to address such problems earlier before this happens so that deaths can be prevented before they take place.

The church leaders should take a major role in discouraging this kind of act not to happen in the relationship. When fighting is allowed to continue, live are lost because some men kill women and some women can kill men. Sometimes Innocent children are also included in the fight and end up loosing their life too. In Kenya for example, we have had many cases where a man kills the wife, children and then kills himself or runs to unknown destinations. Church leaders should compose sermons that touch this sensitive issues that end up ruining lives. 

Let's remain focused and use the best ways to solve domestic conflicts. Let's not allow irresponsible deaths to occur. Let's take responsibilities of controlling our society and believe in God for the best.
