To be a leader, simply means to be a servant. To be a servant simply means to serve all people equally without any form of discrimination. Let us narrow down to the real qualities of leadership. Before we look this qualities we must understand that there are some aspects connected to leadership.
1.Leadership by profession-
This aspect in leadership tells us that, we must be trained professionally in order to become the kind of leader we want. This aspect enables our leadership to come in stages depending on the level of education and training. Examples of this type of leadership is found in Educational institutions, Government ministrys and Manufacturing companies etc
2.Leadership by natural gift.
Some people have natural gifts of leadership from God. They know how to lead and can mentor others into leadership. Such people always manage several projects under their leadership. Examples of this category are people like Church leaders. From just scratches, Some own big church organisations and projects internationally.
1. HONESTY
Honesty is an important aspect in leadership carrier. It helps people understand who you are and how you handle them. It potrays your inner heart and how you mind about others. Minus this aspect in you, you can't handle and manage company resources and property well.
2. EFFICIENT COMMUNICATION
As a leader, you must have good and efficient communication skills. This helps you to interact well with all people in your organisation. A good leader is supposed to know more than two languages and have a know how of different cultures within the society.
3. KNOWLEDGE
A leader without knowledge is like a leader without any power and authority. Knowledge gives us exposure to what people are, what they want and how they behave. Knowledge overrides other qualities in leadership cycles but cannot displace any of them. All aspects need to in place in order to accomplish everything well. Knowledge is power but has to be applied with wisdom. When you lack wisdom, knowledge will lack wheels to ride on. So wisdom is a pivotal element for effective knowledge.
4. CONSISTENCY
A good leader must be consistent in doing and performing duties. Consistency helps a leader to act according to what his or her minds speaks.
Consistently acting in a manner that reflects your true intentions is vital for cultivating a reputation of integrity. Such consistency is a daily commitment that shapes the essence of your leadership identity. Therefore, integrity emerges from the steadfast alignment between your goals and actions. This can really help the people you lead to understand your position and be able to define what kind of leader you are.
5. VISIONARY OUTLOOK
Visionary outlook involves seeing beyond the immediate or present, understanding the bigger picture, and recognizing opportunities where others see challenges. It's about anticipating changes and being prepared to adapt. This requires a blend of imagination, foresight, and an unwavering belief in the possibility of what can be done to solve situations. A visionary outlook can assure a good future for the organisation. Many organisations that fail lack leaders who possess visionary outlook.
6. SELFLESSNESS
A good leader should have a selfless qualities.
Selfless leadership is putting the needs others before ones own, and is motivated by a desire to serves worthy cause. Selfless leaders are concerned with the success of the whole, rather than their own personal gain. This quality is very important in helping people people to define and identify the kind of leaders in our society.
Some of the characteristics of selfless leaders include:
(1). Seeing the value of others:
Selfless leaders recognize the value of others and align that value with a worth cause.
(2). Inspiring Others:
Selfless leaders inspire others to work with them on a worthy cause.
(3). Making others feel valued:
Selfless leaders make others feel valued and unlock their full potential.
(4). Being a giving person:
Selfless leaders are people who give freely and don't expect anything in return. They give out of their clean heart.
(5). Practicing servant leadership:
Selfless leaders practice servant leadership which involves focusing on organizational goals and helping team members thrive and become effective.
(6). Having Vision and Purpose:
Selfless leaders always have vision and purpose. (7). They are honest and open minded and have nothing to hide.
(8). They are Focused, Flexible and Humble. They don't brugg or Bost.
In conclusion, selfless leadership is a difficult trait to learn and require constant practice. However it's beneficial if a leader or employer builds trust with employees and Inspires them.
7. COURAGE
Courage is the quality of being ready and willing to face negative situations involving danger or pain. A close synonym is bravery. Showing courage is often thought of as facing such situations without fear, but it also involves facing them despite fear.
It takes courage for a leader to do some things that all people are looking at as difficult. A courageous leader came make the organisation achieve more and exceedingly. We need to welcome Jesus Christ in our lives so that he can give us courage to do things.
8. WILL POWER:
Strong willpower is an important characteristic for leaders in all positions —whether you're leading a family, a small business, a team or organization, or, most important, leading yourself! These are some benefits of stronger willpower: It provides more choices about how to think and respond emotionally to different situations. As a leader with will power character, the hope for who you are leading is guaranteed. People delight in a leader who has will power to control things.

- The Bible says that leaders should serve others, rather than oppress them with authority. Jesus demonstrated this by humbling himself and becoming obedient to the point of death.
- Christian leaders should follow the example of Christ and set a Christ-like example for others.
- Effective Christian leaders should try to understand the hardships and struggles of their congregants.
- Good leaders should have confidence in God and prepare and pursue excellence.
- Christian leaders should be willing to help those in need.
- Christian leaders should desire Jesus Christ to be Lord in all areas of life.
- Leaders should realize that serving others is the only way to lead with a pure heart, free of pride and arrogance.
